"I needed a narrow tree at least 7-71/2 ft tall with lights, preferably with fewer branches than most artificial trees. I grew up in northern Maine, where we cut our own fir trees for Christmas. This Fairbanks Fir was described as "sparsely branched" -- just as nature grows them! It has four sections that are easily assembled, with color-coded electrical connections. The branches and needles look -- and feel -- natural! I decorate deep into the tree, so I see layers of ornaments from trunk to branch tips. Every part of the branches are bendable, even the "arms" attached to the trunk. I was able to shape my tree to appear asymmetrical; again, just like they grow. There are nine light-flashing options with a step-on "clicker". Most are very fast, but the two fading ones are pleasant. I prefer the continuous-on, since the clear-white glow is very warm. Now I just need to get out of these heavy, snowy clothes, after trudging through the woods for my PERFECT tree ( ;-} !"
