"I ordered 3 of these to replace dead topiary potted plants that flank our garage doors. They are even better than the pictures online. After opening the box, take the time to fluff these as it is well worth it. They snap right into shape and stay that way. If you step back a little, they look real and you can't see the metal stalk running down the middle as you can in the online pictures. Yes, they are artificial and if you get close or touch them, you will know that. I paid this much for real topiary trees last year that are now completely dead. These plants will sit under the eaves of the house (the eaves are two stories up though) but will be exposed to daytime sunlight. I am very hopeful that they can withstand the UV rays and don't fade over time. Overall, we are extremely pleased with these topiaries and look forward to seeing them every day when we leave and arrive home. They make me smile!"
