"We have bought quite a few outdoor plants from Nearly Natural in the past few months. All of them are simply stunning and so life-like. This 7.5 foot Arica palm is perfect for the corner it now occupies. It is a beautiful, lush, vibrant tree. It is quite a statement piece in our newly re-landscaped front yard. So far, all of the plants and trees we purchased from NN that are all UV resistant/protected have held up without fading in the month or so of over 100 degree weather and full sun all day. The Arica palm will get much less sun than all the other plants. It will be interesting to watch them go a full 4 seasons to see how they do. I have great confidence that they will still be stunning after a several years. Wish I could say the same for us."

With natural elements such as the sun and different weather conditions, it's hard to predict how long a tree will last. However, the longevity of artificial trees is highly dependent on how they are installed and maintained.
- Of what material are the leaves made!

- What is the 7.5' Areca Palm made of and how do you clean it? Can I hose it down?
- You can use a dust or damp cloth and it made of PVC, PE Plastic and Polyester.
- Does the outdoor 7.5' Areca Palm with UV resistance have a weighted bottom such that it can withstand winds without toppling over if kept outdoors? If not, can it be weighted at the bottom?
- You may have to anchor it tie it down.
