"Came fully assembled, just pulled it out and fluffed the fronds a bit. It is *technically* 6 ft - if you find the longest strand and hold it up. It feels more like 5 - 5. 5ft, so if you want it to be tall I'd go with the 6. 5 ft version. I decided it doesn't bother me enough and I could get a stand planter to raise it later if it does in the future. Looks real from a distance and holds up well on close inspection. The base is weighted and very sturdy so no worries about it tipping over."
